The Drop In: Reds Edition – The Rise of Alternative Varieties

July 4, 2025

Who doesn’t love sipping on a glass of delicious red wine?

Well, this July you can do just that at the National Wine Centre of Australia… with The Drop In: Reds Edition – The Rise of Alternative Varieties!

Join us on Friday the 4th of July from 5:30pm for a showcase of delectably rich alternative reds from producers all around the country. We’re talking Barbera, Tempranillo, Aglianico, Mencia, Blaufrankisch… and so many more! Come in and try them all, and discover a new favourite you might never have heard of.

Entry to the event includes unlimited wine tastings from all participating producers and a complimentary Spiegelau glass to savour your favourite pours. Our bar also boasts a selection of beverages available for purchase, as well as some tasty food options. The event will conclude at 8:30pm, in time to head into the city for dinner or further kick-ons!

Producer's to be announce - stay tuned for more details on those.
