Assistant Venue Manager - Taikunthi Restaurant & Union House Events
Operated by the National Wine Centre of Australia (NWC), Taikunthi Restaurant is an exciting new addition to the culinary scene in Adelaide. Located on Level 5, Union House on the University of Adelaide's prestigious North Terrace campus, Taikunthi offers an exceptional dining experience with a focus on Modern Australian cuisine.
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic hospitality professional and leader to fill the role of Assistant Venue Manager. This position reports to the Taikunthi & Union House Events Venue Manager and supports front-of-house operations for Taikunthi Restaurant and Union House event space.
To be considered for either of these roles, you will have:
- Passion for delivering results & exceptional guest experiences (Minimum 2-3 years food & beverage experience)
- Previous experience in leading a team (essential)
- Wine knowledge (especially Australian wines) will be highly regarded
- Good coffee knowledge and the ability to consistently produce high quality coffees in a high volume/fast paced environment
- The ability to build rapport with regular clients
- Strong customer focus & excellent personal presentation
- Ability to lead, motivate & develop a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- A current RSA certificate valid in SA (essential)
Candidates for the Assistant Venue Manager will be expected to be available to work primarily Monday – Friday during the day, with some occasional night and weekend work.
