Assistant Restaurant Manager - Wined Bar & Stomping Grounds

The Wined Bar is open 7 days a week and provides exceptional food, wine, coffee and customer service to visitors of the Centre. The Wined Bar delivers curated tourism products including the NWC’s Tasting Room which enables clients to sample over 120 fine Australian wines. The Wined Bar team also operate a small coffee outlet named Stomping Grounds which would come under the supervision of this position.
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic hospitality professional and leader to join this award-winning venue in the role of Assistant Restaurant Manager. Reporting to the Wined Bar Manager, the successful candidate will assist in the day-to-day management of both the Wined Bar and Stomping Grounds while maintaining the NWC’s exceptional service standards.
The responsibilities of this role include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Passion for delivering results & exceptional guest experiences (Minimum 2-3 years food & beverage experience)
- Previous experience in leading a team (essential)
- Wine knowledge (especially Australian wines) will be highly regarded
- Good coffee knowledge and the ability to consistently produce high quality coffees in a high volume/fast paced environment
- The ability to build rapport with regular clients
- Strong customer focus & excellent personal presentation
- Ability to lead, motivate & develop a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- A current RSA certificate valid in SA (essential)
Please note candidates for the Assistant Restaurant Manager role in the Wined Bar must have the availability to work a 7-day, primarily daytime, rotating roster
