How Do We Love Thee? Let Us Count The Ways... Kangaroo Island To Distant Shores Exhibition

Sunday 7 August, 2022

Kangaroo Island artists return to the National Wine Centre in Adelaide's cultural heart ...distant shores but so beautifully familiar!

Join us for this breathtaking SALA festival tradition!

Twenty-three talented artists showcase their diverse strengths in Fine Art Kangaroo Island's I2th presentation of new island-inspired artwork.

In an ancient landscape Kangaroo Island's wild and distant shores set the Island apart, a resting place for wanderers and voyagers, and refuge for those that call it home.

Realised in a range of thought-provoking and exciting mediums, be first to experience over IOO themed works from emerging and awarded artists. Marvel at the transformation of the exhibition space as these works come together in a distinctive expression of the art of place.

Feature artists: Audrey Harnett, Cecilia Gunnarsson, Dave Clarke, Deborah Odell, Fred Peters, Gay De Mather, Jane Evans, Janet Ayliffe, Jennifer Macauley, Kathryn Lewis, Kenita Williamson, Maggie Welz, Melanie Les, Merril Hansen, Michele Lane, Mishka Ammann, Patti Blucher, Peggy Rismiller, Quentin Chester, Rose Walker, Rosemary Whitehead, Sara Hourez.
